We’re Pyrskene
we protect homes at wildfire’s last mile.
Pyrskene is an early-stage company building fire protection technology for homes in the Wildland-Urban Interface – where wildfire meets the structures, families, and communities in its path.

What we believe
No policy, code, or price tag matters as much as the people inside the home when fire arrives.
Everything we build starts with the people who live behind the front door, not just the structure around them.
Insurance is retreating from the places that need it most.
In the highest-risk areas, non-renewals and canceled policies are becoming as common as the fires themselves.
Wildfire codes are tightening — protection is becoming mandatory, not optional.
States and counties are moving from suggested defensible-space guidelines to enforceable building and retrofit requirements.
A home’s long-term value is tied to its ability to survive the next fire season.
Buyers, lenders, and appraisers are all starting to price wildfire exposure into what a home is worth.

Why we exist
Most of wildfire’s toll isn’t measured in acres – it’s measured in homes, people, and tragedy. When a fire reaches a neighborhood, the difference between a house that survives and one that doesn’t often comes down to the last few feet and the last few minutes.
Pyrskene exists to close that gap: to give homes in the Wildland-Urban Interface a real chance at the moment it matters most. We’re building technology for that last mile, and we’re not ready to talk about specifics yet — but we wanted you to know we exist, and why.
